Going, Going, Gone - my second to last Missouri Hoops rating March 16th, 2021

Since I am going in for a little foot repair this morning for some arthritic and hammered toes, I thought I would post the Boys class one through six, even though I have not spent enough time to make the ratings right.  I will do that next week as I recover.  Consider the class one, two and three ratings as "quasi" final.  I will finalize all the ratings after the games this coming weekend.

I am posting Boys first.  In class six, I give Chaminade the edge but with Liberty, Kickapoo and dark horse Fort Zumwalt North, any of those teams could win the championship.  Toss them in a hat and pick one.  In class five, Cardinal Ritter has faced the music with tough St. Louis teams.  No disrespect for the rest of the state, but it will be an upset if Mario Fleming and company do not win another championship for Ritter.

Here are Class six and five Missouri boys ratings and some thoughts about this week's games:

We saw how good Hartville was in class three boys.  The next question will be whether any team can stay with vaunted Vashon in the class four semi- or final game?  Here is my class three and four boys ratings:

We know that Campbell charged down the stretch to win the class two championship.  That was a little bit of a surprise but no one was surprised by South Iron in class one.  Mound City gave it a good try but South Iron was just too good.  A team for the century.
