First Look St. Louis Boys Basketball Red Conference Prognostication 10/18/2020

I started looking at St. Louis boys basketball conference outlooks yesterday. As I said, things change. Players move to different high schools. I can only blog about stats from last year. I am not a basketball expert. I leave that to people that really know basketball, like Earl Austin, Jr. at Prep Hoops Missouri.

The conferences re-align every couple of years and they re-aligned this coming season.  You can check out the alignments at http://stlouissuburbanathleticconference.org/all_athletic.php

I have a summary of all the teams in the Red Conference below. The conference looks quite a bit different from last year but it should be a competitive league.  That is the whole purpose of juggling these conferences every two years.  You play teams near your ability and you get a better, and more diverse experience by playing schools you wouldn't see if you played in the same conference year after year.

I will try to hit as many conferences as I can.  It's just for fun.  I probably have some kids wrong...  they move around and we won't see final rosters until Thanksgiving.  Chew on this and hope we have a season.

Here's my ranking of the Red Conference.  Pattonville and Parkway West look to be top dogs this year:

1. Pattonville
2. Parkway West
3. Ladue
4. Lafayette
5. Lindbergh
6. Parkway Central
7. Parkway South
8. Mehlville
